What do I do?
My role is to speak to school leaders to introduce them to our work or with our existing partners to discuss further options and opportunities for working with students and staff.
Best thing about my job?
There are so many. If I had to pick one it is being able to sit down with school leaders and map out a programme which I know will make an incredible difference for hundreds of young people.
What is your HU highlight
Our recent heroes conference. Bringing together schools from far flung places and heroes working together irrespective of their background for a wonderful day, along with teachers passionate about the programme and learning from each other. All put together by former heroes!
What is your funniest moment with hu?
Our team weeks away are hilarious…. as are road trips with Carlo.
What is your favorite hu course moment?
Possibly HARmony Camps at the very end. Seeing young people volunteer their time, give it their all and reap the rewards. Some end up hugging people they’d not have even looked at twice before becoming a hero – it really is magical and a privilege to be involved with.
Hobbies/interests away from hu
I spend a lot of my time walking an enjoying the great outdoors. I also present my own radio show (currently on Saturdays) via the internet.
The most dangerous thing you’ve ever done?
Abseiling down a tall building.
Oddest thing I've ever eaten
Hard to answer – a lot of Thai food has an acquired taste.
